Return Request Module Overview - How can I Setup my Return Page on Shopify Website and Types of Return Page ?

  • "Return Request Module" provides you "Return Page" feature through which your Customers can Send you Return & Exchange Order Requests from your Own Shopify Website.
  • You can Customize your Returns, Exchanges & Theme of your Return Page according to your Website. There are many Customization options available in "Return Request Settings".
  • And you can manage all your Return & Exchange Orders in "Return Requests" Section.
  • Return Page Setup Process :
    1. Copy the URL provided in the "Return Request Settings" section of our Indian Logistics Services app
    2. Go to your Shopify Admin Panel
    3. In the Left-side menu > Click on Online Store > Click on "Navigation" Option > Select Menu in which you want to Setup your link (Footer or Main menu) > Click on "Add menu item"
    4. A pop-up will appear in the Right-side > Enter the Link name in Name field as per your Choice (e.g. Return/Exchange) > Paste the URL in "Search or Paste a link" field > Click on Add button > Click on "Save menu" button

  • Types of Return Pages
    • There are 2 Types of Return Pages to select from, for yourself & your Customer to Request for Return/Exchange of Orders
      1. "Only Return" Page
      2. "Order Status & Return" Page

  • "Order Status & Return" Page has some more Advanced Customization features & look than "Only Return" Page.

  • Let's see what Extra Customization Features you get in "Order Status & Return" Page over "Only Return" Page :
    1. My Orders Page- Your Customers already logged in to their Shopify A/c will be 1st directed to "My Orders" Page where they can check all their Orders with their Status (as Unfulfilled, Manifested, Fulfilled, Cancelled etc.), Order Amount & Placement Time.
    2. Edit Address & Phone no.- Customers can changed their Delivery & Phone no. before Shipment.
    3. Cancel Order- Customer can Cancel their Order before shipment
    4. Track Status- Customer can Track Delivery Status of their Order on Return page also if they don’t want to visit 2 diff. Pages for Tracking (Brand Tracking Page) & Return (Return Page), they can manage everything on Single page only
    5. Refund mode- You can Provide different Refund mode Options to your Customers to Select from like Store Credit, Bank Transfer Original Payment mode & Other.
    6. Exchange Item- You can enable your Customer to select any different Product or Variant for Exchange Orders.
    7. Edit Pickup Address- Customer can Change their Pickup Address for the Return Order
    8. Declined Orders- You can enable your Customers to Request for Return/Exchange of Declined Orders.
